Project Manager

Precision Pavers
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Precision Pavers

Project Manager

Location: North Dallas/Allen, TX. Starts mornings at our Allen construction office/yard; spends most of the day traveling between job sites across North Dallas/Metroplex; admin updates done in the field/remotely.

Build the kind of projects people show off.

If you're the type of Project Manager who can keep crews moving, clients informed, and quality locked in, without needing constant direction, this role will feel like a win. Precision Pavers is looking for a hands-on, field-forward Project Manager to help lead our three crews across North Dallas and the surrounding Metroplex. You'll be out in the field checking progress, solving problems early, and keeping everyone aligned: crews, clients, and ownership.

Precision Pavers is a family-owned outdoor living and hardscape company serving Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Prosper, Celina, and surrounding North Texas areas. We've been making backyards beautiful since 1984, delivering patios, driveways, pool decks, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living features with craftsmanship and care. We're a small, tight-knit team with a "work hard, have fun" culture, flexible, practical, and focused on doing things the right way.

This is not a desk-only PM job. You'll spend most of your time visiting job sites, supporting and directing crews, documenting progress, and communicating clearly with clients. Our projects are residential and can evolve, so we need someone who can follow plans, recognize site realities, and speak up when something needs to change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution across 3 active crews and multiple residential job sites
  • Visit job sites regularly to verify quality, safety, and progress against plan
  • Communicate with homeowners: expectations, updates, schedule changes, next steps
  • Take photos, document conditions, and keep detailed job notes
  • Identify issues early (materials, layout, site conditions, scope creep) and propose solutions
  • Coordinate with ownership on priorities, timelines, and adjustments when projects deviate
  • Support scheduling accuracy by reporting real-time field status back to the office
  • Ensure crews have what they need to stay productive (clarity, materials readiness, direction)
  • Upload photos, notes, daily updates in JobTread (or PM software)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: Spanish & English (required)
  • 3 or more years of experience in construction project management/field supervision (residential preferred)
  • Strong ability to read and follow plans and recognize "right vs. wrong" on a job site
  • Close attention to detail and organization (photos, notes, tracking multiple jobs)
  • Confident communicator; calm, direct, and customer-friendly
  • Self-starter mindset: you don't wait to be told; you take initiative and bring solutions
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (you'll be on the road daily)
  • Willingness to complete a background check upon a conditional job offer (role includes representing the company in clients' homes)
  • Comfortable learning new software (JobTread or similar).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time position, W-2 Employment
  • Pay: Starting around $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience, with room to grow based on performance and impact
  • Company truck provided (must be insurable)
  • Benefits note: We're a small business and do not currently offer structured benefits (health/retirement) at this time; compensation is designed to reflect that.
  • PTO: 10 days/year (accrues)
  • Paid holidays: 6 paid holidays/year
  • Schedule: Typical start time 7:00 AM at the yard; end time varies by workload and jobsite needs.

Why This Role is Different

This is a high-impact seat in a company with decades of reputation behind it, and a real need for someone who can own the field and help the business run more smoothly. If you want autonomy, variety, and a direct line to ownership, you'll have it here.
